自修溫習|港大醫科生研溫書App(筆記系統化助「主動回憶」)( 部份轉載)

生成式人工智能( GenAI )狂潮帶動愈來愈多的創新應用,有兩位港大醫科生早前研究利用 GenAI 製作記憶卡片( Flashcard ),提升學習及溫習成效。。 僅靠手抄+重讀方式較被動 面對着醫科的知識量龐大,早前即使用了記憶卡片來提升溫習成效,也是用手抄方式,逐張由人手製作,每次動輒花上數小時。而且,是比較「被動的方式溫書」,只是不停「輸入」(對着課堂筆記或課本來寫記憶卡)並透過重讀來讓自己有熟習的錯覺。 GenAI 系統化筆記後思考+輸出有用資料 於是,想到利用經科學研究及證實的主動回憶技巧,配合 GenAI 來改善這此痛點,研發 AI 學習應用程式 PDF2Anki 。透過程式,「在輸入資料之後還要思考,自己再從腦袋中輸出有用資料」,讓腦袋判斷這些為實用資訊,並將其真正記住,鞏固長期記憶。 ▲  PDF2Anki 能分析由用戶提供的文本學習內容,再抽出學習重點及生成記憶卡片,節省手抄筆記時間。程式採用多個 AI 語言模型,包括 GPT-4 、 Anthropic Claude Opus 和 Llama 3 ,可利用各模型的長處應對需求,在醫科知識的可靠準確率達 90% 。 使用前學會輸入指令 , 減錯誤機率 平台並非從互聯網提取資料,而是分析由用戶提供的文本學習內容再生成 Flashcard ,有助確保知識的準確度,大幅減少出錯機會。雖然早前實測時,發現 AI 可能會生成一些毫不相干的問答題,但他分享只要在使用前學會如何輸入指令( prompts ),就可大大減低錯誤機率。 平台另有改良系統的無障礙設計及介面,以支援視障人士使用,並且幫助專注力失調及過度活躍症( ADHD )學生將複雜的資料分拆成更小、更易於掌握的部分,加強組織感,減少處理複雜資訊時的壓力。 基礎版用戶可以上載不大於 50MB 的 PDF 檔案,系統將視乎用戶的設定及學習風格,如是否需要繙譯或問多點關於定義方面的問題、設定語言等,再抽出學習重點及生成記憶卡,之後即可開始溫習。
